The Plant Virology Unit is equipped with high end Microtome facility that allows to prepare thin, uniform and highly reproducible tissue slices without anypre-treatmentlike paraffin embedding or freezing. These ultrathin sections are used for observing ultrasmall structure under microscope.
The latest version of Microtome Facilitywas installed in 2012 in Plant Virology Unit, Division of Plant Pathology, ICAR-IARI under IARI-EFC.
